Representatives of the Information andPublic Relations Center (IPRC) of the Staff of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia attended a reception organized by the Embassy of thePeople’s Republic of China in Armenia, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Chinese people’s victory in World War II.



At the opening of the event, LiXinwei, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to Armenia, expressed hope that the peoples of China and Armenia will cherish the memories of the pastwith respect, highly value peace, and work together to build a bright future.

Gor Tsarukyan, Director of the Information and Public Relations Center, also delivered a speech at the event, noting thatpeace is the foundation of progress, while cooperation is the guarantee to prevent the repetition of past tragedies.

The event featured a speech by JohnnyMelikian, Head of the International Relations Research Department at IPRC and Senior Expert at the “Orbeli” Analytical Center.

Following the speeches, aphotography exhibition was presented, which was followed by discussions.
